As A Naval Charity, The White Ensign Associations mission is to inform and provide guidance to all serving and former members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, their Reserves and their families on employment, finance, resettlement and personal administration.

Our staff give unbiased, independent and free advice through personal interviews and lectures delivered at all Royal Navy and Royal Marine establishments throughout the United Kingdom on a regular basis.

We offer 1-2-1 interviews where we can provide personal guidance and information on your Armed Forces Pension Scheme (AFPS), including Ill-Health Benefits after medical discharge, Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (AFCS) and War Pensions Scheme (WPS). We can also offer you support and guidance with all aspects of administration including Divorce, Debt, Mortgages, Personal Finance and Transition, including an introduction to our free-for-life Employment Services.

The ‘Your Future’ presentations are aimed at service leavers and covers the Armed Forces Pension Schemes (AFPS), including commutation, Early Departure Payments (EDP), Resettlement Grants and Dependants Benefits. Guidance and information on financial awareness, including savings, insurance, income tax and the new State Pension. You'll also learn about the support available to you during your civilian transition including an insight to our free-for-life Employment Services.

The White Ensign Association was set up in 1958 and this year we are delighted to celebrate 50 years on our London base aboard HMS Belfast
